Jesus Christ came preaching the good news of the kingdom of God.1
- The good news is that we don’t have to be defined by our sinful past, 2 but that through the death and resurrection of Jesus,3 we can become new creations4 and live the productive, purposeful and holy life that God uniquely designed for each of us. 5
- The good news that Jesus Christ came to set our lives free FROM sin6 and through the gracious7 sanctifying work of His Spirit 8 transform our lives with ever increasing glory into His image.9
- The good news is that we are embraced by God’s lavish love for us10 and in response we show our love for Him by obeying His commands.11
- The good news is that as we faithfully follow Jesus Christ, we grow in wisdom and understanding through our increasing knowledge of God12 and His Word causing the foolishness of this world to fade away.13
- The good news is that even though we face much suffering in this fallen world,14 our God walks right beside us to help us and encourage us and even carry us through life’s storms.15
